So You Think closes gap to Frankel in race to be Cartier Horse of the Year

imageFrankel has a fight on his hands, at last, in the race to become the 21st Cartier Horse of the Year.

So You Think’s victory in the Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown has propelled Coolmore’s cosmopolitan five-year-old – born in New Zealand, champion in Australia and now trained in Ireland – to within four points of Frankel.

The impression given by Aidan O’Brien was that, while Frankel is expected to have just one more run (the QIPCO QEII at Ascot), So You Think could make several more appearances giving him the opportunity to end up having earned more points than his esteemed rival. (more…)

This was the best game we have seen so far. GERMANY scored most goals yet in FIFA World Cup 2010. This win put them on top of Group D and they are sharing the top spot with Ghana who won the match earlier against Serbia. Goals from Lukas Podolski and Miroslav Klose put the game out of reach in the first half for Aussies. (more…)
